News from the Principal
Dear Parent, Guardians and Carers,
The school was awash with Green and Gold on Friday in support of the Australian Olympic Team. The 1/2 children had a very enjoyable day on Friday participating in their own “mini-olympics” competition where they participated in a range of events to attain points for their grade.

After careful consideration, the concert committee has decided to postpone the school concert to the 23rd and 24th of November. With the uncertainty of numbers being able to attend and the impact of current restrictions the decision was made to move it to a later date next term. More details will be released closer to the date.
Unfortunately due to the current restrictions in place regarding visitors on site at school we were unable to hold our Official Opening and Blessing of the Foundation Building last Thursday as planned. We are awaiting a new date and will notify you all when we have one. Our hope is that restrictions will be lessened and we can invite families to attend.
ST MARY OF THE CROSS FEAST DAY
Mary MacKillop Feast Day is held every August 8th, in honour of the revered Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop. She was the first Saint of Australia, and her influence in the country has spread far and wide. She is recognised for her commitment to the poor, helping those who needed it the most in any way she could. Her legacy continues today in countless ways. Education in its many facets is still a strong ministry for the Sisters of Saint Joseph who were founded in Penola, South Australia in 1866 by Mary Helen MacKillop Reverend Julian Edmund Tenison Woods.
Kind regards,
Jodie
