News from the Principal

Dear Parents, Guardian and Carers,

Thank you for the wonderful support for our school concert last week. Both the matinee and evening performance were a wonderful showcase of our talented students. The smiles and excitement backstage as the children successfully completed their routine was beautiful. For some children this is the highlight of the school year. For others they arrived feeling a bit nervous and unsure but they demonstrated great resilience to step onto the stage and give their best and we are very proud of all of them.

Each concert some students are given the opportunity to take on the extra responsibility of a speaking role, giving up their break times to rehearse their lines. They did a wonderful job. A special thank you to Ashlea Vanyai who worked with the actors giving up her recess and lunch times to ensure they were ready to perform. We are blessed to have a talented stage performer like Ash on our staff.

3/4AB Dignity Project Update

Hi everyone,

We would like to provide you with an update on one of our dignity projects in 3/4AB. This project involved our team making sock balls from your sock donations and we sold sock balls to students for $0.50. We made a total of $43.40, which we are really proud of.

Thank you for your support with either purchasing or donating socks. All the money has been donated to project compassion.

From Blake. M, Zach, Nixon, William, Noah. M and Ollie. S.
